ATC

Hey Chocoland~

I'm back again, more alive this time. OMG I just realised the last time I updated was on 7th May. That was like... OMFG 2 weeks ago? I just peeked at Holly's blog and it seems that girl has been on the ball quite frequently. Lol, although her posts are usually rants (Yes, Holly, I have been reading your blog) but they're so funny. Way to rock the GIFs, girl. ;) To anyone (Yes I hope someone reads my blog), try and find Holly's blog.

Ahhh this past few weeks have been quite hectic. All the assignments and tasks are going to be due next week and eeee~ I haven't started on a freaking one. Haizz... I'm screwed. Besides, I had another camp, this time in school for 2 days and 1 night. Can you believe it? We were only released at 8pm on Saturday. My mommy and my big bro came over to Orchard to accompany me home since it was so late at night and mommy was concerned about my safety. Maybe she's worried about me getting raped or something... Hmmm... Anyways, it was sibei gan dong, okay?

Urgghhh! Freaking annoying shit. This stupid Google thinghy keeps popping up and asking me to log in again cause it seems that I "have logged out of another location". Da shit?  LOG OUT SIMI SAI LAHH! I was typing all along, expect me how to log out? Dumb Google Blogger... =.=

Asshole Google... =.=

Anyways, I wanna talk about the camp. It was an overnight camp and I tell you, sleeping on the floor is not fun! Especially, when your sleeping bag is not even that well cushioned, and you're sleeping beside someone like Holly. HOLLY ARRR, I NEVER TELL IN SCHOOL CAUSE I DON'T WANT TO EMBARRASS YOU BUT WHY U NO STOP KICKING ME?! >:(

No, Holly,  just no.

Anyways, the camp was not as hard as I imagined it to be. Sure, I wasn't looking forward to any part of it, but the bunk cleaning wasn't that bad. Hah Hah, all because I'm not the bunk IC. But then again, it might not be that scary, because the seniors didn't exactly scream like there's no tomorrow at us. I mean, standing outside and trying to stay still and not fidget was tiring, but I'm sure I'm not tired to the point that I can't hear when they shout. They just didn't shout as much as last year. Considering they are a different batch of seniors, they might be launching a different attack at us. Haha. Lol. The trick was to speak softly so that the Bunk IC would be like, OMG I can't hear her when she speaks so softly, therefore, I must pay attention. And then they say things like, "We are scolding for your own good... We don't want you all to sleep in a dirty bunk etc. etc." As wretched as it sounds, it worked, at least on our Bunk IC... Poor Jomma (Haha. J + Momma) <-- All because Jomma acts like our mom. :)

Anyway, the lineup of the activities were like: First, fall in in the usual fall-in area, report to seniors, uniform check etc. Then after like 45 minutes of standing there and stoning, we went to place our bags in our bunks. OK I swear I learnt another lesson. Last year, I brought too many bags. This year, I brought too little bags (like 1 hugeeee one?) and the only bag I carried ended up being to heavy for me. =.= Next year, I vow to carry one hand-carry bag and one backpack.

Then, we had field cooking. Field cooking was surprisingly laid-back, like always. All we do is sit there and figure how to light up the solid fuel. It's not easy, okay? I lost count of how many matches I stroke which went off way too early. I don't understand!! (Cue: I don't understand song and dance) Isn't  combustion possible because of the OXYGEN in the air? If so, match, Y U GO OFF SO QUICKLY? Haizz, anyway we managed to light up one solid fuel from scratch. The other one borrowed the spark from the first solid fuel. Yay. Then we makan!! I wasn't hungry... The Part A beside me didn't look hungry too and in the end we finished eating really quickly. We had instant noodles and canned mushrooms and sardines. Eww sardines... I didn't eat any sardine, but unfortunately, I dropped one mushroom... :( Poor mushroom, rolling on the ground, no longer edible. Haha, anyway, since we were field cooking and the food was to be divided, I asked if anyone was saliva conscious.

Me: Nobody's saliva conscious here, right?
Part A: ._. Ummm.... Can I take first, then?
Me: *thinking* Girl, you can't afford to be salive conscious in NCC! Damn! I mean, I WAS saliva conscious, but I got over it. Heh.

Anyway, the Part D was like, "Hey you two are not eating a lot (me and Part A). Do you want some more?
Part A: *shakes head*
Me: No.
Part D: You sure? *suspicious look*
Me: No.
Part D: Okay. ._. You guys should eat more. You're eating too little, that's why you're so tiny.
Me:

Part D: Don't look so offended...

Hahah totally random moment. I bet she was scared of meh.

Anyways, we moved on to bunk cleaning next. Bunk cleaning was a CHORE. An IMPOSSIBLE chore, and man I can't emphasise how impossible it is. Firstly, we had to put the extra tables and chairs (meaning the number of tables and chairs exceeding 30) in the classroom below ours. Stupiak! Will it kill you to sleep with more tables? No! Then, we had to clean the fans, the windows, everywhere, in like 20 minutes? Let's just say we don't have a lot of people. =.= Bloody freaking torture moment. The dust keeps coming back. To cut the long story short, we got scolded a lot, well, the Bunk IC did... But anyway, we were sent to pumping position... All of it started when:

<outside bunk>
We were falling in and listening to the minimal times the Bunk IC was screamed at. Suddenly, a bang on the table was heard. The Mam'n comes out.

Mam'n: Your Bunk IC is on pumping position now. What should you do?
Holly: Permission to join Bunk IC, Mam'n!
Mam'n: Carry on.

Basically, it was a series of blunders and wrong moves in the bunk. I stumbled on my words and even asked the wrong person! =.= In the end, we did like 12 pushups. Haha I didn't do properly, but at least I attempted to go as low as possible. :D

After bunk cleaning, we went for a toilet break and we were worried about Jomma cause she was crying, but she explained to us it was because their soft and meaningful words made her feel guilty. Yes, Jomma was the Bunk IC, lol. Anyway, we went to shower and it was so relaxing. The bathrooms in our school had sensor-lights and if they don't detect any motion for like, 5 minutes, they would automatically turn of. Jomma, being the most efficient of all of us, even in showering, was finishing up when I was only washing my hair. WTF? Then the lights went of, and just as planned, somebody suggested we should start singing. Haha. My bunch of friends, even Jomma were afraid of the dark and we planned to sing if the lights went off, but unfortunately haven't decided on a song yet. Lol. Jomma finished and went out and exclaimed, "Let there be light!!" and lights flooded the room. Haha.

Anyway, we couldn't sleep just yet. Our seniors wanted to explain something about orienteering to us. We didn't quite understand at first, but thankfully, everything was clear at the end of the day. That night, we slept at 11pm. All the time before 11pm and after the seniors finished teaching us orienteering was spent revising for the tests the next day. I could sense I was screwed as I didn't revise my stuff beforehand, unlike last year. I was kinda at a loss as I didn't bring my full notes. I had to borrow from my platoonmates but they were revising too... So...

The next day, we had PT first thing in the morning. Thank goodness we only ran like 2 rounds? It was due to the fact that the Part Cs arrived later and therefore we were delayed. PT was alright. It was supposed to give us an appetite but I didn't feel that hungry. I ate one slice of bread with Nutella. Me, being a genius, opened the seal so perfectly. But what I saw inside wasn't perfect. Apparently, the oil separated from the Nutella. Talk about bad emulsifier. :D My part took a bloody long time to use the spread. I was the last, kay? Before I even spread the Nutella, the Part D seniors came over and asked if they could have the spread, but then they saw that I haven't finished spreading, so they were like, "Hurry up, hurry up! >:(" Being the nice person I am, I spread it quickly and even brought the spread over to the Part D's table. Sergeant Major was like, "Thank you!" *smiles, and says thank you in a sweet voice* I nearly forgot she was scary for a moment there.

Anyway, we had our drills test next. Drills test was alright, nothing too difficult. Considering we had a small number of people, the test did not take a long time, but they allowed everyone around 15 minutes to be the timer, and everyone a chance to be IC. It was basically like normal training. Our part could do it quite well. To me, if you take normal training seriously, you'll find that the test is actually very similar to normal trainings.

Next, we settled at the canteen for 50 minutes of revision time for IFC practical. IFC was horrible!! I couldn't remember some things and due to that, it was a series of awkward silences between me and staff and sergeant. They were like, "Can you remember the 7 factors of ..." And I was like, " ._. Umm... <awkward silence> I think.... <Another awkward silence>" After like 3 minutes, staff was like,  "Okay okay, forget about that question. You did okay." And from there, I knew I was quite doomed. The rest was okay, until I forgot something again... It was basically the theory part. My practical aspect was quite good to me. :D 'A' for good effort!

Next, we had our written tests. They were quite alright. I was really glad that we did not have GNK (General NCC Knowledge). For all I know, I failed that test last year. Lol.

Then, we went for an hour of orienteering. Yay! It was super fun, but super annoying and tiring at the same time. Oh, that feeling of satisfaction when you actually find the sticker you're supposed to find. :D I personally found like 4 of the stickers! One was under a light switch, 1 was on a poster's tiny logo, 1 was on a wall on the furthest end of the school and the last one was under the rock wall. :D Holly was being really encouraging and saying, "You're a genius at finding stuff!" In the end, we didn't find all. The first one which we attempted to find was too difficult to find, so we gave up. Haha. It turns out we are actually quite good. We marked the points of the map really accurately and therefore, we didn't even find any fake ones. The seniors placed several fake stickers but because we were so accurate, we didn't venture to the wrong spot. :) Then, the seniors just had to say something like, "Our school has been getting the Top 3 positions so far in the orienteering competition. Maybe you guys can be the first batch to be the first to finish!" And deep inside, I was just hoping we manage to get into the top 3 so as to maintain the standard our previous seniors set.

Holly thought the same and she told us, "I hope our opponents, the guys especially, are all fat and cannot run!" LOL that was Holly kinda at her best.

Then all the fun ended as we had to do area cleaning. We cleaned the toilets... The toilets which were used for showering... =.= You simply cannot imagine the amount of hair near the drains. We had to ensure that there was no hair and that the sink did not have any stains. Oh gosh, thank goodness we got it really clean on the first try. Yay.

Then we had bunk cleaning again. This time, it wasn't as strict. Basically, we were given 30 minutes to change into our formal uniform and revert the classroom to the way it was before our camp. Huh, if we were to revert it to the condition it was before we used it, I would have brought all the dust (if I could) and scatter it around the classroom. HMPH! Also, all the tables had to be carried back up. Thankfully, the classroom in which we put the tables and chairs were locked, so we need not carry them back up. :P Haha in your face, ATC! Once again, Part Bs for the win! We cleaned the classroom well enough.

Finally, nearing the end of camp, we had photo taking. Our part was really really sad. We had so little people that we didn't even look like a platoon. Anyway, we had a short AAR session. Seniors talked to us about a lot of things and they even asked questions like: Who's normally the loudest one? We don't really know if it's your default face, but you guys seemed quite dejected and demoralised when we scolded you guys.

Haha. The seniors described us like we were animals. Jomma is a cat, Holly, I dunno. DeeDee's a dinosaur and me... Ugh they didn't say anything. Hng! Anyway, dinner time was after the short AAR session. But I think it wasn't really necessary. I mean, wouldn't it be better if they released us early so that we can go eat dinner ourselves? With our family? At ease? Without having to gather by decided time? Haizz... Anyway, we went home after that. LOL So anticlimatic.

I went back to my classroom to sort out my bag and pack it nicely. Apparently, my brother and my mother were already there. They helped my carry my bags and we took transport home together. So touching. *sniff sniff* But they were irritated lol. They said that the bus came 4 times, but they were all full. My mom managed to squeeze in on the 4th bus while my brother, the 5th. It was really absurd, really. The bus my brother got on was so empty that you could run in it and not hit anything, or anyone, while the 4th bus was crowded and my mother even got a minor scrape from the bus door. =.= Stupid bus.

Ahh, that would be the end of my super long post. Uhh, I haven't added much GIFs here, but I shall find some time soon to do that.

Bye ChocoLand!

GIF-hunting

Heyyy~

Today, I spent my time going through tumblr posts and downloading funny gifs. I'm saving some for the future when I post something and want to add gifs to it. Inspiration from Holly. Thanks~~

Anyway, this one is quite mind-blowing... Like I don't understand how it's freaking possible. >:(

I. Don't. Understand. ._.

Heehee. Holly, you watching this?

Anyway, Holly, here's something I found.

Psshhhh... :D

RRcherrypie

Hey ChocoLand~~

Guess what I've been up to? Watching RRcherrypie work on Popin' Cookin' sets. I gotta tell you - they are like the cutest and most creative things ever invented! You purchase a kit and there are packets of colour-coded powder inside the kit. You follow instructions behind the box kit (which are all in Japanese :D) and pour powder into container sets provided and add in water. Then you either mix with a tiny spoon or shake it or whatever and then you have adorable candy to work on!

RRcherrypie is so flawless in doing these kits! She hardly spills anything and shapes the candy so skillfully. She has uploaded so many videos on youtube on the kits she had worked on, and this is my interpretation - She either has inhuman powers and manages to get everything right on the first try, or she has too much money and can afford so may kits and practice. I'd think the former is more realistic. So, she really is a genius. o.-

And so I was watching RRcherrypie when I stumbled on a video on Singaporean blogger XiaXue doing 3 popin' cookin' kits. I tell ya, this girl is super funny, but she's quite vulgar. Anyway, she attempted sushi, ramen and gyoza, and donuts. I can't say she actually did a wonderful job, but it was quite alright. Alright, now I'm crossing my fingers and hoping she won't see this post. '_'

Anyway, you should totally check out popin' cookin' sets. The best ones currently are hamburger and french fries, gummy candy, and etc,

popin' cookin' products are edible, but the inedible ones are called Konapun. Konapun sets are even more thrilling and fun. There are nicer products you can get out of them, like cake, pizza, hamburger steaks, tons of fried food. The effects are awesome too - like when you fry the nuggets etc, there will be this sizzling effect. -w-

Just in case you'd wanna watch Xia Xue doing the kits. :D

Watch this^
It's french fries + hamburger

This one's not that spectacular, but it's so cool~

Check out these gorgeous darlings~~

They look so good~~~

Kyaa~ so adorbs

So cute!!

Okay, okay... Last one ^ Aren't they beautiful?

Anyway, I've posted enough. If I could, I would post RRcherrypie's whole channel here. Anyway, do remember to check out videos not mentioned here as well as other kits that RRcherrypie has attempted~
They include eraser making, keychain making, decorations as well as adorable stuff like tiny cakes and tea. :D

Shoo! Go to RRcherrypie's channel now!!

Love,

CCA Camp

Hey ChocoLand~

I'm back!! Like I've said, I decided to write about a camp. Maybe I should make things clear... Clear enough. I am from this place called Singapore and as a teen, I'm am currently in my secondary education. We have Co-Curricular Activities (aka CCA) every single week and honestly, it can get quite tiring. My CCA is a uniformed group called NCC. So yeah... :D

Beware, this is gonna be a super long post. I really shouldn't be doing this since I have a Japanese test tomorrow. =.=

The camp lasted for 2 days and 1 night. We booked in the HQ on somewhere in March, at around 7:50pm. OMG the day didn't exactly start out right and I was reluctantly dragging my backpack and wearing the uniform on the train to HQ. Bloody hell to all the people who stared at me weirdly. =.= I mean, the society's just too stereotypical. Why can't a girl wear a uniform meant for guys? Hmph!!

Anyway, I met up with Holly :) and this other girl called Kaylisson (not her real name but close enough anyway :D) at the train station. So we walked and talked on the way and Kaylisson was hanging behind us staying silent. I mean, sometimes I feel bad, but really, I don't know what kind of conversation I can strike with her. She's socially awkward, maybe only to us... Sigh... The main reason we can't really talk to her is because we don't freaking understand her. She mumbles and jumbles all of her words and they sound like a bunch of crap. No kidding.

Anyway, when we reached the HQ, we saw our mam'n <-- IDK how to spell. Apparently we arrived just in time and she was waiting there for god knows how long. =.= And then we witnessed Kaylisson being chided by Mam'n because she didn't hand in a consent letter/form/whatever you call it, and nobody knew whether she was coming. Well, basically they were all panicking - Mam'n, Sir, Master Sergeant, Sergeant Major, Staff etc. Talk about irresponsible, though she claims that her cellphone was spoilt. =.=

Anyway, we entered the HQ and then our very own mam'n s who recently graduated from our school met up with us. (Yep, they're students aged 17) Truth to be told, they had this perfect and intimidating aura that makes you feel inferior. They are very pretty and were good enough to become cadet officers. The Mam'n told me that I was in Platoon 2. :D Alpha 2, to be exact and Kaylisson was in 1, and Holly in 3. the three of us were the only ones in Alpha company and thus we were assigned similar bunks, thank god. Though we were separated, at least we'd meet up at night. :D

Anyway, we settled down and shortly after, reported to the reporting venue. We then marched into this huge hall and sat down and listened to the-guy-in-charge (IDK what you call him) give his opening speech. Boringgggg~ The only part I remembered was when he told us about his army days and how his platoonmates would "talk cock" <-- basically talk crap.

He said:

One of my Malay friends asked: "Hey... We talk cock, kay? Let's be racist."

-pause-

The Malay friend spoke again, "You know we Malays like everything to be lively. Our weddings, any happy occasion. But y'all Chinese people uh, very weird leh. When y'all have wedding, y'all like to hold them in restaurants and only invite few people. But when got funeral, I see people from everywhere coming. Why? Y'all like sad occasions ah?"

Haha. If you've been to Singapore, that's the way the natives speak. :D After the whole speech thinghy, we went to play some icebreaker games. It was really awkward, really, since not even the Sirs who took us knew what to do. Haha if I'm not wrong the Sirs are Sir David and Sir Kelvin. Hilarious duo... Anyway, the games were alright, but even if they were fun, I practically just sat there, not doing anything. Yup, I was the only girl there. =.= There is another girl, Alice <-- yup her real name, but she went to get her boots changed. So I sat there alone... for around, 2 hours... being picked on by the sirs to choose a group name and war cry...

When Sir Kelvin asked me, I just stoned there and said I can't think of anything... Then he made everything super AWKWARD by asking the guys to applaud to give encouragement. -.-" So I became even more speechless... I really should stop being to introverted...

Anyway, Sir David got fed up that no one came up with a war cry, so he threatened us, "If ya'll don't come up with a war cry and name soon, I'm gonna call you guys 'Sexy Ladies' and your war cry shall be 'Hyaaaaaaaarghhhhhh~' *cue super high-pitched voice" And you know what? The boys said it was a good idea... *Facepalm*

Eventually, we settled for "Where got time" and "Walao eh~" for our war cry. Basically, we screamed "Where got time" when the sirs said, "Alpha 2 on your butts.... down!" (Basically to tell us to sit down) and "Walao eh" when they said "Alpha 2 on your feet... up!"(Basically to tell us to stand up). It was pretty good... :D

After that, we went to have our lunch. It wasn't that bad, actually... Rice, vegetables, and as much as I can't take it, curry. Oh gosh... I just don't have a high tolerance of spicy foods... Anyway, I traded my curry for Alice's vegetables, since I'm so health-conscious (not). :) Then we went for orienteering... Basically, we were taught how to use a compass during orienteering, or NAVEX~~~~ as one of the sirs called. That sir was super hilarious. He told us a ghost story, but I shall post it next time.

What shall I say? Navex sucked. Our team didn't manage to complete the whole thing, partly due to our incapability but also because it rained in the middle of it. :D So we just stayed in the lecture room sitting there doing nothing and occasionally going into diam position because we were too noisy. It wasn't even the girls' fault! Hng, but NCC HQ stands by the quote: One for all, all for one. Really sucks...
The other sucky thing is that our group lost our compass pouch somewhere... But we don't know where...

To pass time, the sir from before agreed to tell us ghost stories but the boys wouldn't shut up! They stayed silent for like, 30 seconds? And then they started talking AGAIN!! This went on and was followed by several diam commands and then finally when he was getting to the good part, my team was sent out to look for the compass pouch. Talk about bad timing. =.= But thank god we found it. :)

Then we had dinner. Already? YEP! NAVEX lasted a few hours... Dinner was not exactly special... Just the same. But what did I see? Curry again... *Sigh* That just meant more veggies!

After that we had Trainfire. Trainfire was about stripping (or 'raping' as the sirs would call it) the rifles and then assembling them. OMG I swear the rifle weighed at least 5kg! And I had to march into the venue with only ONE hand carrying it!! Grrrrr.... Anyway, I had no problem stripping the rifle, but assembling was a whole different story. I don't even wanna talk about it. :(

Anyway, it was showering time and then lights out. Never in my life have I ever felt so relieved and thankful for cold water from shower heads providing excellent water pressure. I felt squeaky clean and felt extremely comfortable. -w- But I wasn't allowed to fall asleep right away. I had to write an appraisal. =.= 30 words for each sir... But in the end, I put it off to the next day. Haha :P Anyway, we were supposed to sleep at 11pm sharp, but the sirs actually forgot to bring in our blankets and bedsheets. Fail~~ So lights out was at at 11: 30pm but everyone fell asleep at only like... 1am? o.-

OMG I still couldn't forget how some of my bunkmates started singing and talking during lights out. One of them even started mumbling-singing Taylor Swift's songs and her best friends was like, "OMG 鬼叫啊!" Haha that literally meant: ghost calling!

The next day was the one which was more exciting. We were supposed to do Physical Training (PT) but we didn't have time, so yay!! I don't like PT. :( We had lunch at the big parade square, and personally, they served us too much breakfast at only 6+. There were like noodles and a slice of banana cake. :O But I still finished everything because I didn't want to waste everything. Although it sounds really unhealthy, I was feel really bloated up to the throat which I think was due to swallowing too fast. So, I kinda flushed everything down with soya milk. :P And then I felt better.

Then we had paintball!! Which actually sucked cause of all the things we have to wear and how the sirs were rushing us. I mean like the boys did it super quickly cause the sirs could afford to help them. But I'm a girl, so naturally I can only get help from Alice. So the thing is, we wore some sort of 'armour' (not exactly, but that's what I'd call it since its mainly there to protect the boys' most valuable part) and thus huge annoying helmet which fogs up so easily. So basically during the shooting, I couldn't even see anything much less aim at a target. Gosh! And I didn't even understand what we were supposed to do, so I just hid behind some huge barrel-like thinghy. What can I say? I didn't get shot, but I didn't shoot~ :P

Next we went for rappeling. This was the most fun of all, mainly because I did well in it. At first I was against it, all because I didn't have the confidence that I could actually pull it off. But Alice urged me to do it. (Thanks, Alice) So I did. We had a dry run before we attempted the 4-storey rapelling wall. The harness was super hard to put on and so was the helmet. In the end, they didn't have enough gloves so I had to queue up at the back so that the people who attempted the real wall could pass it to me afterwards. So the dry run was horrible in the sense that I felt that the sir was making my life difficult. He suspended me from the low platform, which means my body was 45 deg. in the air, with my feet still on the platform. Of course I wasn't that scared cause I wouldn't die from that tiny drop but the sir had to think that I was scared so he suddenly jerked the rope and I was like o.0 WTH. The he told me to scream something like "Lance corporal, <Name> Platform 2" something something... (I forgot what we were supposed to scream) but anyway, I didn't scream loud enough all because he was so close to me that I had no need to. But obviously making my life hard again, he told me to scream my lungs out. =.= HMPH Oh yes, the thing we had to scream was to inform the people below that we are prepared to rappel. Anyways, yes I know I have to scream, but I'll scream only when I need to. I don't want to shout like an over-enthusiastic idiot.

So I went up to the real wall anyway and thank goodness it wasn't the sir-who-made-my-life-difficult who was in charge of helping me rappel. It was this funny mam'n. The sir from before came up to the  4th anyway since he had nothing to do, and Alice and I just sat there like ._. Dont' make eye-contact. But he just had to talk to us. -.- HAHA Alice was being really open and talking all kinds of stuff. She even whispered to me ear, "I think he's flirting with me" and I was like, "Reeeeaaaaalllly~?!" The sir heard something about flirting and he was like, "What did you say?" Alice didn't answer so he turned to me and I stayed silent. Yay, you go girl! Ignore him! But Alice was like, "OH we're just talking about how she flirted with her dog." And my face was literally like ._.

Anyway, after rapelling,  it was some High Confidence Challenge, which I didn't take part in. First things first, I highly doubt I'd be scared. It's just that I didn't go on it because It was so bloody hot under the sun. My nose was burnt enough, okay? And then I considered the fact that the harness for this challenge was even harder to put on than the one for rapelling. In fact, this one was a full-on harness. There were 2 challenges you could choose from: The Balancing Beam and The Leap of Faith.

The Balancing Beam was not hard to understand. It was this huge log suspended to a height of 4 storeys and all you have to do is walk on it until you reach the mid-point. That's it. Mid-point, not even everything. But them, what goes up must come down, so you jump down. It would feel like a mini-free fall, except that some instructor would apply force on some rope so you don't fall to your death.

The Leap of Faith requires you to climb up this long vertical pole. Don't ask me how. then standing on the top of the pole, which I think has a diameter of around 20cm [?], you leap forward to try and grab a bar. I heard the bar was super slippery and huge that you won't be able to grab it tight. So anyway, another instructor ensures that you don't die.

Since I didn't participate in it, I sat under a tree and started working on my appraisal, which I finished and i figured I did a good job. While I was working on my appraisal though, some boys were distracting me. They kept asking questions. But they weren't the annoying kinds who said cheesy stuff. One of them was like, "Hey, there's an ant on your sleeve." and I was like, "You think I'm not used to that already?" Haha, his face together with the rest was like, woah okay...

Then we had photo-taking after the people finished their challenge. Sigh it wasn't fun at all. The thing is, I just don't like pictures and we had to take like, I dunno, 2? 2 is a lot, okay? Let's just say that I'm not photogenic.

And finally, we were nearing the end of camp. All we had to do was finish bunk cleaning. I wasn't looking forward to bunk cleaning. You have no idea how harsh your seniors and sirs/mam'ns are when they have bunk inspection. Thank goodness I wasn't the bunk IC, which meant that I would not have to take the brunt of the scoldings they would give whenever something was unsatisfactory. But this time, surprisingly, we didn't get any scoldings at all. None. That was totally unexpected, though I should not get used to this. My school NCC camp is coming up soon and I'm sure as hell they'll not be lenient.

Finally, we got to go home!!! I was sweating like a pig towards the end and my face was so red I'm sure it looked hideous. I tried so hard to cool it down with wet tissues but to no avail.

This camp was truly a new experience, since it was the first time I actually went out on a camp outside of school. I had several chances to go on camps previously, but I always ended up sick. I seriously would have preferred that it wasn't a discipline camp like this one, but something that allowed us to slack a little. During this camp, I had to be really disciplined and on my best behaviour because the sirs there were really intolerant of rowdy behaviour. However, I cannot deny that there were times I truly enjoyed myself, especially during rappeling and the times where the sirs would make horrible jokes. I wish there would be more of these opportunities in the future, but it looks like there will be more courses instead, which spelt even higher standards of discipline. Luckily for me, I always think of my school and how I would not like to tarnish our image. :D

Will write back soon, especially on the sir's ghost stories.

P.S.
To talk cock to to talk rubbish and things completely unrelated to things you'd normally talk about with friends.

P.P.S. diam position is a corporal punishment in the way that cadets have to sit up straights, with their hands clenched into fists and placed on their laps with their arms locked firm and straight. Eye contact must be maintained at the front. No eye-balling, just staring into an imaginary dot in front of you.

What should I do? :o

Hey to whoever reading this post! :D

I just started this blog, with no idea whatsoever to write in it! I cannot believe myself! D: When I look at this blog, it looks pretty but so so empty. If you're wondering why I decided to name this blog "Mirai's ChocoLand", it's because I like chocolate (especially milk chocolate~) and since my love is anime (Japanese animation) and decided to learn Japanese, I really should name my blog with something Japanese. :) "Mirai" means "future" in Japanese. Sounds cool, huh? At least cooler than my best friend's blog name. Holly, I know you're reading this! (And nope, "Holly" is not her real name~ Only "Holly" will know what effect this should have ;) )

I've decided this blog, to whoever who comes across this, shall stay anonymous. I'm not revealing my name (not that you'd wanna know, but anyways...). This is also particularly why I called my best friend Holly. :D I'll only say I'm a teen. That's it. Not interested in reading a teen's blog? Then kindly click that nasty little red button you see at the top of your browser.

Hmmm... I shouldn't reveal the names of my other friends, should I? Mehh. Doesn't work that way. :P
This way, my enemies won't know that I'd dissing them! HAHA

Anyway, I don't think that my life would have any major/interesting happenings, that is, if you don't count the random outbursts from Holly which are 90% of the time entertaining, but annoying the other 10% of the time. Heh.  HELI YEAH!!

Maybe I'll write about a camp I had in right before the March holidays... But I'm too lazy to do it anytime soon. Not sure if I can remember the major details though....

Oh well, byes~
